Dato' Dr. Roslan Ahmad
Managing Director & Founder
The man who started it all. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Roslan Bin Ahmad is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 35 years across developments, engineering, transportation, services, and maritime. Since 2002, he has been deeply embedded in OSV chartering and operations — serving major oil companies across Malaysia, Thailand, and the Middle East.
Beyond Synergy Marine, he's an active voice in the industry: Vice President of MOSVA (Malaysia OSV Owners' Association) 2025/2026, lifetime member of MASTRA, and a member of IAMSP (UK), IMSML, and the Malaysia Norway Business Council. Basically, if there's a room where maritime decisions are being made — he's in it.
Mohd Asmawi Ilias
Finance Director
The financial backbone of Synergy Marine. With over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and a 50% stake in the company, Mohd Asmawi doesn't just manage the numbers — he owns them. From accounting and treasury to taxation, audit, and investor relations, he keeps the company's financial engines running smooth.
But his role doesn't stop at the spreadsheet. He also oversees facilities and overall operations, making sure the whole organization runs like a well-oiled (pun intended) machine. The kind of person who makes sure the ship is always stocked before it sets sail.
